Small, but super friendly family business. Had a nice dinner, fun conversation with other dining travelers. A much appreciated beer and hot shower. Diesel, water, 15A for the rv. Would stay again if passing through.

Only 8 sites, all had water, but only 16 amps. You drive in and drive out, no amenities.

All in all, skip this overpriced, underwhelming location until a new owner gets suckered into buying this property.

The location for this hotel/restaurant/gas station is really idilic, just besides the majestic Liard River.

This tired establishment, has great potential, it will be excellent when new people will purchase this location, as it is currently for sale.

The highlight of our visit was the drunk male owner yelling at customers.

The RV area is minimalist, just a plot of weed field. Better bring a very long extension cord if you need adequate power. Preferably all the way to the next town.

Cute place, nothing special. This is not a spectacular hotel, don't expect your typical city 4 star rating. This is four stars because for being remote, it was very nice. The beds were comfortable and warm and clean. There is a small 'restaurant' inside and the owner cooks for you. I didn't eat so I can't attest to the food. The owners live there only in the summer. They have a dog. If you bring a pet, it MUST stay in your vehicle, and on the far side of the parking lot so as not to upset their dog, who barks nonstop at the sight of other animals.

However, in the meantime, the owners are milking it for all its worth without any improvements. The rooms are still from the 1940's. Small, dingy, dirty and dark, very suitable as a stable for horses.

The toilet use is a "recommended" $1.00 Canadian per visit. (I think they also accept US Dollars) After all, toilet paper doesn't grow on trees.

I would rather dry camp and starve than ever return to this place. It's a sham and a shame, and their advertising is all lies. Their hook-ups consist of a 50-year old rotting wood post with a 20 amp outlet on it and a rusty pipe sticking up for water. There is no electricity in the main building, so NO connectivity of any kind. It's a horror movie and the Milepost should be punished for listing it.

The restaurant is a basic, overpriced hamburger joint.

He was so fuelled with liquor, that he could barely stand up as he ranted at people from his trailer balcony. He is clearly ready to retire and have the new owners repair the "goodwill" that he will leave behind.
